This detailed map covers the town of Morley, just south of Leeds. Most of the town is shown, with coverage extending from the GNR station northward to St Peter’s church, and from Bruntcliffe Road eastward to Wide Lane and Well Hill. The GNR line crosses the map, with station and goods yard shown with full track layout. The LNWR line largely passing beneath in tunnel but the map does include their station with sidings to Morley Main Collieries. Other features include Rods Mills, Town End, St Paul’s church, Robin Hood Quarries, Albert Mills, Low Town End, Fountain Street, Queen Street, Commercial Street, New Brighton, Troy Hill, Crank Mill, Brunswick Mill, Daisy Hill Mill (top right corner), Albion Mills, Morley Hill, Deanfield Mills, Bruntcliffe Lane, Highcliffe Mill, cemetery, Bruntcliffe Mills, Victoria Colliery (bottom left corner) with mineral railway, Dartmouth Park, St Andrew church.
